Irradiation differences between Meteonorm versions

The difference maps show the differences in the global horizontal radiation (GHI) and direct normal radiation (DNI) between for different Meteonorm versions. The differences are mainly induced by different reference periods, different ground stations, updated areosol climatologies and enhanced satellite data.

  • Red areas (positive values): The newer version shows higher values than the older version
  • Blue areas (negative values): The newer version shows lower values than the older version

The results of the latest version generally have a lowest level of uncertainty.
